In her role as Senior Manager of Communications and Development, Chanel oversees all aspects of NCLC communications, including developing press releases, serving as liaison with the media, developing marketing and promotional materials, launching social media campaigns, and maintaining the website. She also leads community engagement efforts, assists leadership to identify funding opportunities, and authors grant proposals and interim reports.
Prior to assuming her current role, Chanel worked with NCLC and the Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies at Rutgers University – Newark for nearly five years as NCLC’s Communications and Special Projects Manager, an Associate Program Manager, and a Research Associate. Chanel has previous research experience in public policy, education, transportation, and psychology.
Chanel holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from the Steinhardt School at New York University.
